Wood shavings

Wood shavings are thin wood chips that come loose when planing wood. Due to the small thickness, the fiber curls. Because wood shavings have good properties as insulating, absorbing moisture, retaining heat and dampening sound, they are very useful as animal bedding, pens and cages.

Willems developed techniques to make excellent wood shavings. The planers are supplied in three versions, single, double, triple and quattro. With these planers, wood shavings are produced with adjustable sizes; width, length and thickness of the curl can be set entirely to your liking. In addition, we have all the machines in-house for processing and packaging wood shavings.
