Five insulation balers for a project in the United States.

Due to high energy prices and sustainability, houses and buildings are being better insulated. This requires large quantities of insulation material, such as glass wool. The voluminous character of glass wool has a major drawback; transport costs can be high.

The glass wool balers can compact glass wool up to 20 times and pack it in a logistically manageable bale, without affecting the properties of glass wool. The glass wool bales can be stacked on a pallet so that an optimal amount of product can be transported per freight.

These machines include a fully automatic film carousel system for changing film while the machine continues to produce bales. This so that the glass wool production line does not have to come to a standstill while foil needs to be changed.
